Since opening, the firm has been retained to complete more than 50 market and financial analyses for proposed new lodging projects, ranging from stand-alone mid-market hotels to five-star-plus boutique hotels on dramatic oceanfront sites. During the first half of 2005, among other assignments, Peterson Economics completed analyses for:

  • A proposed new ultra-high-end boutique hotel in Los Cabos ($800 ADR)
  • A proposed new high-end wilderness lodge in Alaska ($700 ADR)
  • Four other proposed new oceanfront hotels in Mexico ($200-$500 ADRs)
  • A proposed guest ranch in Montana ($700 ADR)
  • A variety of proposed boutique hotels in the Rocky Mountains and Pacific Northwest
  • Proposed condo-lodge conversions and development projects on Maui and the Big Island, and in Washington, California, and Arizona
