Among others, Peterson Economics’ recent and current consulting assignments for proposed new resort projects in Mexico include:

  • Capella at Pedregal, Cabo San Lucas, Mexico: a market and financial analysis for a proposed new ultra-high-end boutique hotel, fractional community, and whole-ownership community near Land’s End in Cabo San Lucas.
  • Arrecifes, San Carlos, Mexico: a market and financial analysis for a proposed new 700-acre oceanfront resort on the Sea of Cortez, which would likely feature an oceanfront golf course, beach club, marina, and other amenities, along with a variety of whole-ownership and fractional real estate (and possibly a private jet providing access to the resort).

  • Oceanfront Parcel, Zihuatanejo, Mexico: a highest and best use analysis for a 500-acre oceanfront parcel near the airport in Zihuatanejo, Mexico. Proposed uses include golf, hotel, and resort residential.
  • Marina Parcel, Cabo San Lucas, Mexico: a highest and best use analysis for a marina-front parcel in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
  • Oceanfront Parcel, San Jose del Cabo, Mexico: a market and financial analysis for a proposed new oceanfront condo community in San Jose del Cabo.
  • El Paraiso, Careyes, Mexico: a market and financial analysis for a proposed new ultra-high-end oceanfront resort, including two boutique hotels, an 18-hole golf course, a spa, a beach club, and a variety of high-end whole-ownership and fractional real estate products. This new resort would occupy a stunning, 2,000-acre oceanfront site immediately north of Careyes, between Puerto Vallarta and Manzanillo.
  • Querencia, Los Cabos, Mexico: a market and financial analysis for an Aspen-based development group contemplating a purchase of Querencia, an upscale private golf club community in Los Cabos with a Tom Fazio golf course and a variety of undeveloped residential pads.
